Ukulele Classes
Held and hosted by Maku`u. Hands on classes were attended by Keiki to kupuna with the intention of playing a number together by the end.

The Kupuna of the homestead shared stories and music with everyone.

Classes were offered to the community and everyone was welcomed to learn how to play the ukulele. The Ukuleleʻs were provided by Maku`u and was gifted to the participant.
Done on a weekly sunday bases for 3 months. at the end they performed at the sunday market.
taught by: Dee Miyamoto who was a lesee and a co-founder group of Maku`u farmers market.
mission: to perpetuate the culture of Native Hawaiian music and mo`olelo.
