The Mālaʻs First Harvest

On Sunday, Feb 3rd several keikiʻs came to harvest their share of the hard work they put in.

Over 40 families were fed with the lettuce that was harvested that day. Lettuce can be prep

ared in many ways. Most will opt for a salad with dressing, others will want to add it to a sandwich, some will get creative and use them as lettuce cups.

Either way you decide; these keiki can proudly say "I grew this!". A true "farm to table" moment that is embedded in each keiki that participated. The hard work they put in was shown abundantly through each lettuce head that was harvested.
